The FCL055D exam consists of 3 parts (2 parts for FCL 055B) :
- MCQ test based on operational documentation (only for FCL055D exam)
- Active listening of a radio communication extract and interaction with examiner
- Simulated flight

Proficiency rating scale
The proficiency scale, according to the International Civil Aviation Organization standards, ranges from Level 1 to Level 6, with guidelines published for :
- Pronunciation
- Fluency
- Structure
- Vocabulary
- Comprehension
- Interaction
validity
A proficiency test is to be made within the last year of validity regarding levels 4 and 5.
